Neighborhood Spider-Man Comic

Long before he was your Friendly
Neighborhood Spider-Man, Peter Parker was a shy, orphaned
high school student, whose spare time was spent at events like
a lecture on the safe handling of nuclear waste. It was there
that a spider accidentally wandered into the path of some rays
from the waste, was irradiated, then fell on Parker's hand and
bit him.
The young Parker got up and left the lecture with
a burning hand, and a few surprises waiting for him on the way
home. He not only threw some thugs out of his way, but jumped
30' up a wall and clung there to avoid being run down by a car.
It was then, he discovered he had acquired the spider-like skills
that would one day make him the star of the Friendly Neighborhood
Spider-Man comic books.
As he grew and matured, passing through his student
days, and a longtime job as photographer for the Daily Bugle,
your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man took on more and
more complex roles in defeating the evil forces that plagued
his city. In the process, as was common with so many Marvel
super-heroes, he would cross over into the issues of other series,
including the Fantastic Four and the Black Panther.
The current Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
comic book, is an intricately plotted and arranged series of
12 parts, to be divided into four "acts", each with
a different colored cover. The three issues in each act, will
cross over into other Marvel comic books, producing one installment
each, in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Marvel Knights Spider-Man,
and The Amazing Spider-Man.
