Bayern Munich’s talks over Musiala new contract are progressing well

Max Eberl reveals that talks over a new contract with Jamal Musiala are progressing well. But he won’t promise that it will be completed before the end of the year sportnews.

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has revealed that. Talks over a new contract for Jamal Musiala are progressing well. But is not yet certain whether the deal will be completed by the end of the year. Sky Germany reported on Sunday.UFABET

Musiala is currently under contract until 2026, with a market value of no less than 130 million euros. While Bayern Munich are in talks over a new contract with the player. Which, if all goes well, will make the 21-year-old midfielder the club’s highest-paid player, equal to Harry Kane immediately.

‘We are talking very intensively, in other words. There are a lot of discussions,’ Eberl said of the latest developments in Musiala’s contract talks.

Asked if the new deal could be finalized this year. Eberl replied: “Signed before Christmas? I’d love to have everybody celebrating under the Christmas tree. But I can’t guarantee that today.”

Bayern Munich is still a heavy favorite to keep Musiala. But this could take a bit longer to work out if there is a conflict regarding the inclusion of an exit clause. On the surface, it is very doubtful that Bayern Munich will agree to that. So it could be a situation where Musiala’s camp is using the threat of an exit clause to negotiate a higher salary.
