Premier League side Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of Argentina U20 left-back and captain Julio Soler from Lanus.
Bournemouth have announced the signing of 19-year-old left-back Soler from Argentine club Lanus on a long-term deal, with an undisclosed fee.
The deal for the 19-year-old, who the Cherries say has signed “a long-term contract”, could eventually be worth about £11.5m if all add-on clauses are met.
Born in Paraguay, Soler is an Argentina Under-23 international and played all four games for Javier Mascherano’s side in their run to the quarter-finals of the 2024 Olympics.

Soler captained Argentina’s Under-20 team and was a key player for the Olympics in Paris, France, last summer. He was call up to the senior national team for the first time in October, but has yet to make his debut.
